Production:
Standard stock footage of the Defiant studio model. To shoot this scene they had the camera on a dolly that was on a straight track. They would program the camera to move towards the model and then as it passes the camera automatically turns to keep the model in the center of the frame. This would have to be done several times for lighting, etc.
